Garba training for students was organised at the campus as Aura activity by the expert Ms. Vaishali Solanki on 18 july 2019
International Yoga Day was celebrated at the campus under exeprt guidance of Mr. Keshubhai.
A reunion for all the alumni members is held on 20 Jan 2019 from 10:30am at SMIT campus.
Ayaan - a state level annual fest is held on 21 Jan 2019 @ SMIT campus.
Internal exams for Sem 1,3 & 5 are going to start from 24th August 2018

A seminar on "Awareness and Career Opportunities in Indian Army" will be held on 8th Aug 2018 at SMIT Campus. Designated Persons from Indian Army are going to deliver the seminar to the students about how Indian Army is functioning and what are the career options available for the graduates.
Sports Week 2018-19 is going to get started from 30th July 2018.
Regular classes for B.B.A., B.C.A.(semester III & V) and B.Com.(H.) (semester III) will start from 12th June 2018. Buses will come to the respective pick-up points at regular time.
