Teachers Day & Janmashtami celebrations

On the eve of birthday of the great teacher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, 3rd Sep, in SMIT was celebrated as teachers day. Since the year 1967, 5-Sept. is celebrated as Teachers Day as a mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society. The selected senior students taught to the other junior students as part of the celebrations. Matki Fod competition was organised on same day to celebrate the festival of Janmashtami. 5 teams participated in this intra college competition.
